Verdict

Lewis Island gets the confident vote in this poor seller with Mighty Fine and Sadler's Cove rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fifth in a better race behind dead-heaters Penzance and Arcalis last time out, this represents a big drop in class and under similar conditions here he need only run up to that mark to score. Might Fine rates the main danger on his latest second behind Nifty Roy but he has yet to win over this trip and he is taken on with this in mind. Sadler's Cove is another that could go well on his latest third behind Poker De Sivola but the suspicion is he will be seen to effect over an even longer trip. Of the remainder Court One looks vulnerable under topweight while Balmoral Queen looks to have regressed and for the winner we return to Lewis Island.
