Verdict

Vinny Gambini, Ashford Wood, Major Ridge and Darsi Dancer have all been chasing before but have yet to win over fences. The latter may prove best of them back over the larger obstacles. But ON THE ROAD arrives on a roll having notched-up four consecutive wins over hurdles and Evan Williams’ charge should go close again if continuing his good progress now chasing for the first time. What A Game won over hurdles at Cartmel in May and also makes his chasing bow.
