Verdict

Balkalin has been struggling for a while but is only a pound higher than his last winning mark. Bentham is just 1-26 over timber but CARDANO (NAP) is having only a fourth run under NH Rules. Rated 100 on the Flat at one point, he ended a long losing run at Epsom last month and could be thrown in here with Eddie Edge’s claim a further plus. Escobedo is 0-19 but Leopolds Rock is a previous course and distance winner who was a fair third at Uttoxeter in August. Brian's Jet’s second at Hexham in May came in a seller.
