Verdict

This is a wide open contest that may fall to Caribbean Cove, with Weaver George and Broadbrook Lass put forward as the main rivals. Richard Guest has his string in good heart at present and this six-year-old has displayed plenty of promise in handicap chases recently. He put up a decent performance last time when third to Noblefir at Musselburgh and that could be good enough form to take this modest event. Weaver George is a very lively danger having been successful at Catterick last time. That was over three miles and a furlong but today's drop in trip shouldn't pose any problems. Broadbrook Lass also comes here in winning form having out- stayed Don't Tell Jnr at Fakenham last time. If she shows the same attitude today she should be capable of going close. Celtic Legend and Go Nomadic are two others that warrant respect, but in a very tricky contest Caribbean Cove is just given the verdict.
