In depth

Verdict

Theatre Act was just touched off in a four-runner race here last month and may be improving. But MARDALE has more class, as she showed when chasing home Hollie's Pearl at Haydock, and should be capable of conceding 7lb to Chris Grant's mare. Mo Chailin also has a penalty but her Catterick win isn't working out and she was beaten out of sight over a longer trip next time at Ludlow. The others would need something extraordinary to happen to be involved at the business end.
