Verdict

Indy Island won a Down Royal maiden over the minimum trip in January and was still travelling well over that distance before weakening quickly when sent over 2m4f at Fairyhouse. The heavy going didn't suit that day and better is expected here. MOLLY CAREW had shown nothing in bumpers nor on her hurdling debut but caused an upset when beating the long odds-on chance Tearsofclewbay on very testing ground at Lingfield. Today's conditions will be quicker but the longer trip is in her favour and she can go in again. Oscar's Song showed some potential in bumpers but jumping will be her game as she's related to numerous winners. Any money for her should be noted as the remaining pair haven't done enough to merit consideration.
