Verdict

Balkalin has shown some promise and could threaten the places again. Lord Caprio is only 3lb higher than when winning here in November but he’s gone right off the boil since. Sonning may also have lost his way but THE NAVIGATOR (NAP) is firmly back in the groove and the Musselburgh winner can defy a 6lb rise. Enlighten is another arriving in top form and Spiritofthenorth won a maiden at Wetherby in a canter but has been raised 9lb.
