      In depth

      Verdict

Palawi won on his debut at Haydock in October and made a race of it with the odds-on Empire Levant at Doncaster last month. He concedes weight all round here but should go close, though narrow preference is for LAMPS. There wasn't a lot of encouragement in his first two starts over timber but he left that form behind when second to Music Of The Moor at Sandown last time and a repeat of that effort would probably suffice here. Verluga was third at Market Rasen earlier this month and may be improving but others have something to find if they are to figure.
