In depth

Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events the market will be all important and the principals look to be Sparron Hawk, The Music Queen and Is There More and the tentative vote is given to The Music Queen. The selection hails from a yard that does well in this sphere and this well bred type will not need to be anything special to make a winning debut. Sparron Hawk showed a glimmer of ability on his debut last season and is sure to improve but he is bred to come into his own over a much longer trip in time and he looks opposable on that basis. Is There More is a Classic Cliche mare, half-sister to three winning jumpers including the useful Roman Ark and he should be monitored in the market. Of the remainder Fairfield is bred to win over five furlongs but may not stay and for the winner we return to The Music Queen.
