In depth

Verdict

Wilfie Wild looks the best of a poor bunch and is taken to score from Gollinger and Queenies Girl. All three of these have handled cut well enough in the past and Polar Gale, another who may have made the short list, prefers it quicker. Wilfie Wild jmups well and stays well and has shown the best form of these under rules. The trip is short enough for him but he is taken to score. Gollinger will be better suited by the trip but is not as good as the selection, although does have experience at this unusual track to give a little more confidence. Queenies Girl was thrashed here by the useful Drombeag in February and that looks a fair assessment of her abilities, so although she may be good enough to make the frame, she should not be up beating our choice Wilfie Wild.
