Verdict

Mejd has won three times on the Flat and is rated around the same mark as ABERGAVENNY but the pair have gone their separate ways over hurdles. Gordon Elliott's raider has yet to reach a place over obstacles but Brian Ellison's charge has won both starts to date and will enjoy the fast ground here. Turbolinas won a soft ground bumper here in February but came nowhere near repeating that effort at Kelso the following month.
