In depth

Verdict

Plenty of interesting sorts such as Divine Port who represents the Swinbank team that used to harvest such races in the past but has been quieter in this sphere in recent seasons. He looked promising on debut and the booking of Tony McCoy speaks for itself. Tom Barton was another to shape pleasingly on debut and Curious Carlos is almost certainly better than his poor Aintree effort last time. Clonalig House and Luccombe Down require a market check on debut hailing from the Fahey and Quinn yards respectively but the selection is BLAYNEY QUEEN. She was beaten less than two lengths on her Perth debut, receives weight all round and the Crawford yard enjoy a tremendous 33% strike rate with their bumper runners in the UK over the past five years, posting 21 winners from 63 runners.
