In depth

Verdict

TEELIN STAR looked potentially very useful when winning twice between the flags by a distance but was beaten when odds-on for his bumper debut. He then won a Listowel bumper before unshipping his rider at the first on his chasing bow and pulling up at Naas. He's been favourite in every race he's run so far and punters are likely to latch on to him again so hopefully he can deliver the goods. Indian Outlook produced easily his best run to date at Killarney in August and has the pedigree to do much better over fences but What A Island hasn't made too much of an impression over the bigger obstacles and his one decent effort came over much further. Back Off Mate was brought down on his only start over fences but showed a bit of potential over hurdles and has been running well on the Flat so at least will be fitter than most.
