James McAuley has three entries with Colin Keane on board Eastern Racer, a disappointing favourite in a similar race at Ballinrobe after a narrow defeat at Killarney. The stable also run Alhaajeb, claimed after finishing third in that Ballinrobe event and likely to get into contention here. JAAFEL is still a maiden but has been racing in handicaps and drops into this company for the first time. He just gets the nod over Maricruz, another who has been performing almost exclusively in handicaps.
