In depth

Verdict

High Focus should improve now going handicapping and likewise Space Velocity and the former John Hills-trained Etaad. SUPERNATURAL was well backed when put over this trip at Gowran but had nothing more to give having led until the furlong pole. She has ability and could recoup losses here if ridden with more restraint. Northern Surprise, who also started favourite on his latest start at Gowran and has the beating of Dundalk specialist Fix It on that effort.
