In depth

Verdict

Hospital is the only one of these with an official rating but he's been beaten so far in his most recent runs that he's impossible to select, even in this poor contest. King William started off with a couple of decent bumper runs before well beaten in a better class event so it's SILVER TASSIE who is handed the vote. He began with two decent runs before disappointing but he's the type his trainer does so well with and he'll do better now sent hurdling. Winning point-to-pointer Kilcarry Bridge didn't have the pace for a Fairyhouse bumper but is likely to do better over hurdles.
