Verdict

BAINNE (NAP) won this in 2013 then went to the UK where she failed to get on the scoresheet. Back in Ireland, she won at the Curragh in June and would have finished much closer in a better race than this back there last month but for interference - she's taken to gain compensation. Enter The Red has won once in 28 starts and that was over the minimum trip but Chillie Billie arrives in top form having followed a very good run at Galway last Tuesday with a victory there on Saturday. A 5lb penalty shouldn't be too much of a problem and he reversed earlier form with Vasoni, who had beaten him on very heavy ground here in May. The latter would be a threat if more rain arrives while the lightly-raced Lord Carleton is tried in blinkers after letting supporters down on his last two starts.
