Kevin Prendergast won this last year and the latest form of Three Cheers, when last of three at Down Royal, has to be discarded as she was struck into and lost her action. Enter The Priory made a very encouraging debut behind the odds-on Belle Et Bete over 7f at Down Royal where she stayed on nicely once getting the hang of things. It's surprising to see her stepping down in trip and she may not have the pace of the newcomer VOCAL NATION. Jim Bolger's filly is the 15th foal of a mare who has produced eight winners and though she's likely to appreciate further in time she should be speedy enough to make a winning start. Some Character has run better than his form figures indicate and he should be up to challenging for a place at least.
