In depth

Verdict

MAGNIFICATION finished second to Medicine Jack at Navan and the form was given a mighty boost when the winner beat a very strong field in a Group 2 at the Curragh on Saturday. He didn't run as well when stepped up to this trip at Leopardstown but this opposition doesn't look as strong. Sir Dreamalot made his debut over 6f at Navan then dropped back to the minimum at Down Royal. This trip isn't certain to suit at this stage though he's very much a work in progress. Youarewonder finished just in front of him at Navan, easily his best run to date, though it would be no surprise to see the positions reversed. Coppertone is from the first crop of the speedy Dragon Pulse and may prove best of the remainder.
