      Verdict

      Mick Appleby has sent out three of the last four winners and TIGRAY has every chance having won a handicap over track and trip last month. Winning form on the surface may give him the edge in this and he gets the vote. Vampish has every chance at the weights but arrives in poor form along with Archippos with First Flight preferred if taking to the Fibresand as he drops in class. Pumblechook has placed over a longer trip here recently and could figure again with the remaining pair looking up against it.
