In depth

Verdict

Roseneath is chasing a hat-trick after wins at Market Rasen and Huntingdon and warrants respect, despite a further rise in the weights. Three Chords and De Bansha Man both held entries at Leicester on Tuesday but could figure if taking their chance here, while Dallas Bell has proved consistent of late. Gaora Lane, Mister Watzisname and Daldini are all nicely handicapped if returning to their best but we reckon there's more to come from PLINY. Venetia Williams' charge ran a lot better than his final placing suggests on his fencing bow at Newbury and should have learned plenty from that run.
