Only a handful make any real appeal for punting purposes; with Majik, Yenaled and Pawn In Life all placed on the shortlist of dangers. However, Paul Blockley's recent record speaks for itself and Game Guru is fancied to do his bit to expand upon the strike-rate in races of this nature from the last month or so. The selection changed hands for ¿8,000 after finishing third in a claimer over a mile here at the end of last month, but had previously been holding his form well in modest handicaps like this. The change of scenery can spark a revival in the interest of horses of his nature and, as Game Guru has not been over faced in his debut for his new yard, a bold bid is anticipated here. The drop back to seven furlongs should not be a problem for Game Guru either and he is taken to be too resilient for the likes of Majik at the finish.
