    Verdict

Orpen's Art has been running well of late but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper so preference is for Wild Bill Tracey who is taken to gain a deserved success and gets the vote ahead of Golden Dane. The last mentioned has been going well in sellers and claimers of late but this looks tougher back in handicap company so he may be best watched. Mel Brittain's Lujiana has her first start on the Fibresand and her first in a handicap but looks to be a shade high in the weights for what she has achieved, while Galley Slave has claims on the pick of his form but is inconsistent. The vote then goes to Mark Wallace's Wild Bill Tracey who has been knocking on the door of late and has been given a chance by the handicapper so gets the vote to open his account in what looks a poor race.
