In depth

Verdict

CAST CADA, Jokers Legacy and Dunkelly Castle are all looking for successive wins, and we'll side with Cast Cada to achieve that. Charlie Mann's gelding has shot up the weights after winning at Taunton last time out, but still has a little in hand over Joker's Legacy. This will be the fastest ground that he's encountered, but it should suit. Tim Vaugher's runner won well here and at Wincanton last month, and has been consistent in his short career to date. Only twice out of the first two in his nine runs, the ground was against him then. he's likely to go chasing later in the year. Dunkelly Castle changed yards last month and won first time out for them at Exeter with a more patient ride than previously given. Hold up tactics could be employed again today. It would be no surprise if the shortlisted trio filled the first three places, but to win the contest, we'll go with Cast Cada.
