Verdict

Grace Tara won a point and a bumper in 2014 and, after a very long absence, has reappeared in good form so should give a good account. MALAPIE won a novices' hurdle at Wetherby in 2012 and has only had three subsequent starts where he hasn't had much luck. He was having his first start since 2015 when runner-up over 2m4f here in January and with the longer trip looking certain to suit he can regain the winning thread. Popelys Gull has been making steady progress and showed that this is his kind of trip when runner-up at Fakenham. Ballyhenry, unbeaten in two bumpers and a winner over hurdles at Kempton a year ago, has been very disappointing subsequently though in slightly better company. Lough Salt won a Wetherby handicap in November but went up 10lb which has looked a few pounds too much.
