In depth

Verdict

A solitary pound turnaround in the weights shouldn't be enough for Tiger Hawk to reverse past form with JUST MANDY so it's the last named who gets a confident vote in this weak affair. Richard Fahey has his string in rude health and this filly appreciated stepping up to a mile when scoring tidily here on her penultimate start. She's subsequently disappointed at Kempton but a return to what appears to be her preferred surface can see a return too to winning ways. Tiger Hawk was no match for our pick when last they met and a repeat scenario seems likely. David Evans' charge has been consistent in this grade over the winter and does have Jamie Spencer's assistance for the first time, but that shouldn't be enough to turnaround a four length deficit with our selection. In truth the rest look poor. Whipper's Delight takes a big drop in trip ahead of her course debut but has shown precious little so far, Otterton ran abysmally on her return and doesn't look to be crying out for a mile whilst Lord's Seat is a 49-rated performer who has struggled in poor handicaps lately. The last mentioned does at least act here but nothing makes more appeal than Just Mandy who gets a strong vote.
