In depth

Verdict

No No Cardinal was only beaten a short-head at Worcester last month but has flattered to deceive in similar circumstances in the past. Elkstone has also proved hard to place but did finish ahead of Stormbay Bomber over course and distance in April. YOURHOLIDAYISOVER has only won once over fences so far but is usually thereabouts and has a consistent record here. With Brian Hughes doing the steering, he can double his tally today ahead of maiden Code Of Law, though the latter will benefit from James King’s claim.
