Verdict

There are a couple of useful old campaigners in this sprint handicap with the 10-year-old Pawan and The Tatling, at the grand old age of 13, taking their chances and both are more than capable of taking a hand in the finish and have to be respected but a better bet looks to be WOTASHIRTFUL, who can open his account on the Fibresand. Jim Boyle has his team in fine form and the son of Namid has gone well here before, latterly when chasing home Swinbrook in March. A narrow winner at Lingfield two outings ago and only 1lb higher in the weights today, the five-year-old can resume winning ways. Course winners Dancing Maite and Argentine are difficult to recommend on recent form and of more interest may be Garstang. John Balding's gelding has been running well on the Polytrack of late and would have every chance if able to reproduce a similar level of form on the Fibresand but he has disappointed here before and a safer option looks to be Wotashirtfull.
