Verdict

Showboating does most of his winning here and completed a course and distance double with last week’s success. But the veteran had found Weld Al Emarat six lengths too good over track and trip back in November and Mick Easterby’s charge has subsequently won here again when scoring over 7f a week ago. However, the latter carries 6lb extra today and the less-exposed THREE WEEKS (NAP) is preferred off his current mark having finished runner-up on this surface to the progressive Matterhorn last month. Mr Top Hat is proving hard to win with and debuts on the Fibresand along with Barrington while Mama Africa hasn’t been at her best since returning to action.
