Verdict

All seven runners declared for this handicap have either scored over course, distance or both and out of the septuplet FIGARO FLYER looks just the best ahead of Xpres Maite and Luscivious. The hope is that the selection can make bottom weight count here and return him to his best form. Both of his wins at this course have come over this trip and racing on his preferred surface off a mark just a pound above his last winning rating he should run a big race. Xpres Maite is yet to win over the minimum trip but really loves it here. He is weighted to really mount a challenge but the fear remains he lacks the pace to win over this distance. Luscivious has been on reasonable form of late and should be seen in a better light now back on the fibresand however his burden is still looking a little restrictive. Tartatartufata has also had plenty success over course and distance but his in and out form is a little off putting and a much safer option appears to be Figaro Flyer.
