There shouldn't be a great deal between Three Strings and Parnassian at the revised weights following their recent clash but NORTH WALK may be able to confine both runners to minor roles. Tim Vaughan's charge has been in good form over hurdles lately and ran well enough on his return to racing on the level to think that he can win in this sphere. He drops a furlong in trip which promises to suit and he has run well here in the past. Three Strings kept on well for strong driving to prevail by a length and a quarter with Parnassian a further two and a quarter lengths back in third; the winner has risen by 5lbs for that performance and the third dropped by 2lbs. Orkney is relatively unexposed and is well worth a market check for a yard that enjoys some success here whilst neither Night Orbit nor Mad Professor are forlorn hopes but our preference is for North Walk.
