      Verdict

      Exit To Luck is given marginal preference over My Friend Fritz and Kylkenny. The Steve Gollings team seem to be in good form at the moment and this course and distance winner makes plenty of appeal in what is a decent race for this time of the year. My Friend Fritz doesn't have too many miles on the clock for an eight year old. It was interesting to hear the rider describe him as "running green" last time out. He looks capable of further improvement. Kylkenny didn't see out 14 furlongs on his latest start and is duly dropped back in trip. He is consistent enough but will always be vulnerable to something on the upgrade. My Mentor is bred to appreciate this trip but has a little to find for the increase in distance. Jazrawy returns from a failed spell over hurdles. Marquee has been the subject of a couple of gambles in the past so it will be interesting to see how the market reacts on his reappearance. Exit To Luck faces sterner opposition today but he is in good enough nick to continue his progression up the ranks.
