Verdict

THE BRIG AT AYR ran a cracker from out of the handicap last time and now off his proper weight looks the best treated in this Handicap Chase and as such gets the vote ahead of Darina's Boy and Tanners Court Despite racing from a full eight pounds out of the weights in a Novice Handicap last time the pick only found the one too good. That was his bow in these ranks and given is now back off his proper mark he looks set for a big run. Darina's Boy hails from a stable in form and ran a big race in horrible conditions on his last run. He's up in the weights despite defeat but although on his old form he looks well treated his jumping often lets him down. Tanners Court is flattered by his placing last time as he was held 32 lengths. He is perhaps better judged with his run off this mark two starts back when finding just the one too good and connections may be hoping for a bit of rain before the off. Stop The Show has a likeable consistent profile and should give his running again and Heezagrey looks value for a place with an emerging talent talking off useful weight. A competive race but The Brig At Ayr looks well treated after his last run.
