EARLY WINGS is our idea of the winner with Majy D'Autueil and Proper Article others worthy of comment. A useful hurdler when trained by Richard Phillips, Early Wings had struggled for form for his current handler but that recent third to Nesnaas represented a step in the right direction. Majy D'Autueil accounted for Glengarra when the pair met at Fontwell. The latter did not particularly uphold the form when beaten at Newton Abbot. Proper Article has dropped down the weights and is the sort that his new trainer seems to specialise with. Eborarry does not look the most willing of battlers when push comes to shove. It would be no surprise to see Russian Invader take a hand if any rain arrives over the weekend whilst Falcon's Tribute was a bitter disappointment when well touted for a recent prize at Hexham. A decent prize on offer and Early Wings narrowly shades our recommendation.
