In depth

Verdict

Only Hope is creeping up the weights, despite not winning, but her recent seconds at Exeter and Hereford are among the best form on offer in this finale. Lisdonagh House has gone up 8lb for winning a modest affair at Newcastle while Pickworth has been raised 4lb for finishing second over a longer trip here three weeks ago, though did finish a long way ahead of Home She Goes that day. Present Your Case has place claims if returning refreshed following a short break but there may be more to come from YES MATE, who was only caught close home over fences at Sedgefield last time in a race that's worked out well. Dianne Sayer's gelding must be thereabouts here if handling the better ground.
