In depth

Verdict

Flying Bantam can take the nightcap at the principal expense of Bartercard and Masai Moon. The selection does have to race from 1lb out of the handicap but he ran creditably at Wolverhampton last time out and has won previously at this track. Bartercard is relatively unexposed but did nothing wrong when lowering the colours of Dasheena. Masai Moon finihsed fourth in a valuable handicap at Newmarket. He makes a debut on the fibresand tomorrow. Kabeer has ability although he seems to need everything to fall right for him in order to demonstrate it. Sailor King and Kelamon are entirely capable of winning a race of this nature but are not noted as particularly consistent. Flying Bantam looks best equipped to take this race.
