ROBIN OF LOCKSLEY went close at Ludlow on only his second start over timber and Dan Skelton's point-to-point winner can go one better in this. Dual bumper winner Goldboy was well beaten on his debut over timber at Bangor but that was his first start since 2013 and better is expected from him while Penn Lane has won a bumper at Uttoxeter recently and goes hurdling for the first time. Policy Breach was in the lead at one point on his hurdling bow at Ludlow but hung left throughout the race until eventually running out at the last while Mountain Eagle showed a bit of improvement when fifth at Wincanton last time.
