        Verdict

        CROSSE FIRE (NAP) is still improving on the evidence of last month's success in a Class 2 sprint here, his fourth win over course and distance. Another bold bid is expected from him while though Desert Command finished ahead of the selection when second here earlier he failed to figure when favourite at Lingfield last time. Jaarih beat Sleepy Blue Ocean in a lower grade contest over track and trip on his penultimate outing while Flowers On Venus made a winning start at Wolverhampton and could figure if taking to the Fibresand. Both Ballista and Hoofalong also have a shout on their recent efforts on the Polytrack but Fine 'n Dandy only won a lowly Class 6f contest here at the start of the month and was unplaced at Wolverhampton on Friday evening.
