      Verdict

      One More Roman attempts this extra furlong for the first time having gone very close over 7f recently but is placed too often to have any confidence in. Pelican Rock has plenty to find at the weights, though he won so easily over C&D last time that he may well be ahead of the handicapper, while Hurricane Hugo and Brave One have scope for improvement on their Fibresand debuts. TECTONIC has yet to justify his 140,000gns price tag but he went close at Kempton last time and a chance is taken that he'll handle today's surface and open his account.
