Verdict

Miss Champers gets the vote in the opener and she is taken to complete a hat-trick of successes with Pancakehill, Pawn in Life and Brilliantrio the main dangers. The selection is in great heart at present and although she has the burden of top weight, she is difficult to oppose on a track where she has gained her last two wins. She has a 6lb penalty here for her win last week when she defeated Rock Concert but she is taken to complete the hat-trick. Pancakehill could represent the main danger as she has winning form on this track and is racing off a handy mark. She finished fifth behind Pants at Lingfield last month but has Ian Mongan taking over in the plate here and should go well. Pawn in Life is another that has winning form on this surface but he is a frustrating sort who can not be relied upon and he was well beaten last time at Wolverhampton behind Zagala. Brilliantrio looks to be on a handy mark and could go well after running a fair race on this surface two runs ago when fifth behind Repeat. Of the remainder, Smith N Allan Oils won well last time at Lingfield over a mile so has to be respected, while Travelling Times has been in fair form of late and could have each-way prospects, but we are happy to side with the in-form Miss Champers.
