Verdict

Too Many Diamonds rattled up a hat-trick here before going down with all guns blazing in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen. That was a fine effort for a chaser with limited experience and he might be capable of defying a further 7lb rise back on this track. Newton Geronimo is back on song but has gone up 8lb for winning at Worcester and we prefer JALEO (NAP). His Worcester victory has been franked and he’s a novice with the scope to hold his own in decent company this season. Hargam was a useful hurdler and got off the mark over fences at Warwick in May and Valco De Touzaine is well handicapped on past form and has a first run for an up-and-coming trainer. Ballycrystal and Voix D'Eau look best of the rest.
