Verdict

My Excelsa and Wondrous Scene share the same handicap rating and travel over from Ireland with the former less exposed and making more appeal. They’re weighted to beat ex-compatriot Fujaira King, who disappointed at Kempton on his debut for a new yard while Jeans Maite was still beaten a long way behind an odds-on favourite over track and trip last month. Tomshalfbrother is fitted with headgear and debuts on the Fibresand along with REIMS and the latter gets a speculative vote despite having something to find on these terms given the Haggas yard has a fine strike rate at the track and remains in good form.
