Verdict

J J Leary was fancied to reverse earlier running over C&D with SAMASANA when dropped back to 7f here last week, but could only manage third place as the latter proved too good again. Ian Woods' filly will find the return to a mile to her liking and is also fancied to confirm superiority with another of today's rivals in Pelican Rock, who was beaten a length and half by the selection last time though can re-oppose on better terms today. The remainder look up against it on what they've shown to date with Canning Vale possibly proving the best of them.
