In depth

Verdict

Lockstock is given the confident vote here with Sorbiesharry and Colemanstown the pair likely to give him the most to do. Sorbiesharry has been a revelation over the past couple of months and although he is racing off a career high mark, he is a tough sort and in his current rich vein of form he is difficult to oppose. However,we will do so with Lockstock who finished narrowly behind Sorbiesharry last time, but he has a pull in the weights here and that should be enough to see the placings reversed, especially with the slight drop in trip also in his favour. Colemanstown won well last time at Southwell when beating Crusoe. He has got an obvious chance here but he was returning from a break last time and he traditionally goes well fresh, and he has never been able to record back-to-back wins in the past. Arran Scout would have claims on the pick of his form but he has been a little disappointing of late and for the winner we return to Lockstock.
