    Verdict

Several in-form horses here and many in with chances, however we will side with recent winner Doctor's Cave ahead of Favouring, Penel, and Mid Valley. The selection didn't beat a lot when winning at Wolverhampton ten days ago, however he won convincingly and could be hard to peg back today from his low draw. He will have to carry a penalty for winning that day, however he could be up to defying it. Penel is a course and distance winner so warrants plenty of respect, however his continuous string of placed efforts has seen him edge up the handicap. In contrast Favouring is very gradually inching his way in the opposite direction and should be there at the finish. Pawn In Life has claims along with recent winner Mid Valley, however for the winner we will return to recent winner Doctor's Cave.
