Verdict

Some powerful NH yards have runners in this bumper with Alan King saddling staying-on Taunton second Newtown Boy. David Pipe’s Easter Eric is a half-brother to useful jumpers Easter Legend and Easter Meteor and Genius is worth a market check but Nico de Boinville has travelled over from Warwick to rise PALIXANDRE, who cost €100,000 and is a half-brother to two Flat winners in France so should have more speed than most. Muftakker wasn’t beaten far in a blanket finish at Market Rasen but that looked an ordinary contest.
