In depth

Verdict

Nonobu has improved in both of her two starts so far over today's trip whilst Mr Jay Dee has placed in each of his three starts, but we go for the winning form of THOMAS BELL who won by half a length last time out. The pick finished the race very well and has come on leaps and bounds since debut at Stratford. Having shown such improvement between those two races and the potential for him to have developed again, we side with John O'Shea's gelding in this contest. Nonobu has also shown she is progressing with her last run at Worcester far better than her first time out. Mr Jay Dee was three lengths behind the winner when placing third last time. He didn't quite have enough to challenge in the final furlong in that run and with a furlong less to travel today he is perhaps the biggest danger to our selection, Thomas Bell.
