In depth

Verdict

Despite weight for age allowances for the shortlisted pair of Latin Scholar and Gainsborough's Art our verdict lands in the saddle of top-weight NO SUPPER. Tim Vaughan's runner will have extra help from Tony McCoy in the saddle after running well off a 16lbs lower mark last time. He perhaps should have taken advantage of a really good opportunity to score that day and while this is a step into the unknown has far as his career high mark is concerned he shaped as if it is within his scope on his penultimate start. Latin Scholar should go well given his weight fro age allowance. All things being equal Alan King's runner should be third highest in the weights but finds a himself half way down the handicap and looks well enough treated on his debut in this sphere. Gainsborough's Art also has that age allowance but in this case its only a small advantage gained and his six pound rise for a last time out success looks high enough. You could also throw What's Up Doc and Amwell Brave into the mix after both put in decent efforts last time but to win it we side with No Supper.
