Verdict

It pays to have a good look at everything saddled by John Gosden during the winter months and his TIME BOOK is selected to break his maiden in this race, with Inflammable standing out as a major player. Sir Mark Prescott's Inflammable drops back in trip after being thrashed over two miles at Kempton last time, and that should suit. She is proven on this surface after a couple of decent efforts here in defeat and she will probably prove to be better than this mark of 66 in time, but for today she has still got a few pounds to find with Time Book, who is preferred. The Gosden inmate was hammered on soft ground at Catterick last time, when tried over this trip, but had previously shown what amounts to the best form on offer here when making the frame over 10f at Nottingham. There is no reason why the Galileo colt should not act here or get the trip and he can hopefully outclass this field. Dream In Blue makes his Fibresand debut and sees out this trip well. He can probably come back to some form and looks likely to be competitive. Bluegrass Lion can improve, as should Warren Bank after a decent Wolerhampton effort last time, but Time Book has the strongest claims.
