Another competitive handicap can go the way of Mill By The Stream who won well here just two days ago and if turned out quickly under his penalty he could go in again, with Majik and Mouseen heading a lengthy shortlist. The selection had shown improved form to finish second over seven furlongs earlier in the month, but the drop to this trip paid dividends on Tuesday and he looks a solid option. Mind Alert would rate a danger although he was beaten fair and square here on Tuesday. However he has won off a 7lb higher mark so he should be dangerous if putting it all in. Mouseen's latest third to Wodhill Gold could be franked in the 1.30 and looks solid form in the context of this race, however his wide draw and drop back a furlong may not be ideal so for those reasons he is passed over. It is now 23 runs since Majik was able to get his head in front and while he is now running off a mark way below his highest winning one, he struggled last time out in a seller, and looks on the decline and so cannot be truly fancied. In a fairly open looking race then, we will side with Tom Dascombe's Mill By The Stream to go in again.
